Getting the car booked

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Rules for renters

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
