The 1997 Saab 900: Collision replacement car
Renting the 1997 Saab 900 as a car while yours is off the road works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.
The numbers in plain words
The 2.3L 4-cylinder does the work, through a 5-speed manual. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
Expect about 34 litres for every 300 km, going by its 11.2 L/100 km combined rating. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $52.08 at our price setting.
What the 900 is like
Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. The EPA lists 680 litres for luggage, roughly bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.
When the 900 makes sense
It uses more fuel than most, so it suits shorter trips or people who need its size. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Booking made plain
To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.
You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
What to bring
Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.
Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
Send a request
When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
