About the 2012 Scion tC

This page joins two things: collision replacement car, and the 2012 Scion tC in plain words. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.

Under the hood

It uses the 2.5L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Rated at 9.3 L/100 km combined, it needs around 28 litres for a 300 km round trip. At our price setting, it costs about $14.42 to drive 100 km.

Best uses

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Size and space

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. Its 425 litre trunk is enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

In our fleet

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.

Request, offer, keys

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Rules for renters

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
