Specs, explained

It is powered by the 2.0L 4-cylinder, with all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

A combined rating of 7.9 L/100 km works out to about 24 litres per 300 km. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $36.75 at our price setting.

Who the Crosstrek suits

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage.

Inside and out

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Our Crosstrek cars

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Requesting a car

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

What we ask of drivers

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

Your move

When you have your dates, send a request. It is free, and the offer shows the full price.
