The 2016 Subaru Forester: Collision replacement car
If you need a car while yours is off the road, the 2016 Subaru Forester is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.
The numbers in plain words
The powertrain here is the 2.5L 4-cylinder with all-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.
Combined fuel use is 8.7 L/100 km: about 26 litres for 300 km. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $40.47 at our price setting.
Practical details
An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.
Best uses
Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
In our fleet
There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
The steps
Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.
The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
Checking your details
If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.
Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
Send a request
The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
