Collision replacement car: the 2021 Subaru Forester Base

For a car while yours is off the road, the 2021 Subaru Forester Base is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.

The Forester and Caverna

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Caverna. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,506 km from Caverna, and does not deliver there.

Places around Caverna include Caverna, Jane and Griffin Ford.

The figures, translated

Its powertrain is the 2.5L 4-cylinder with all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

It is rated at 8.2 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 25 litres. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $38.13 at our price setting.

Size and space

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Who rents the Forester

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Getting this car from us

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

The booking steps

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Who can rent

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
