The rules, briefly

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
