The rules, briefly

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
