Before you rent

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

Booking in plain terms

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
