Collision replacement car: grey 2015 Toyota Corolla CE in Java

The 2015 Toyota Corolla CE: Collision replacement car

Here is the 2015 Toyota Corolla CE, for anyone after a car while yours is off the road. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

The Corolla and Java

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there. If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Nearby places include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

What the figures tell you

The engine is the 1.8L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

The EPA rates it at 7.5 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 23 litres. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $11.63.

The Corolla in everyday use

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. The EPA lists 368 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who the Corolla suits

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Renting it

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

What to expect when you book

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

What to bring

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
