About the 2016 Toyota Corolla CE

Renting the 2016 Toyota Corolla CE as a car while yours is off the road works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. A note on Knobs

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 692 km from Knobs, and does not deliver there. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Knobs starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Johnson Crossroads, Elmhurst and Union are the closest places to Knobs on our list.

What the figures tell you

The 1.8L 4-cylinder is what moves it, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 23 litres, from its 7.5 L/100 km rating. That works out to about $11.63 per 100 km at our price setting.

Living with the Corolla

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is rated at 368 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who the Corolla suits

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Renting it

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

Request, offer, keys

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Who can rent

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
