A note on Java

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Around Java you will also find Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Under the hood

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder drives through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 20 litres, from its 6.8 L/100 km rating. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $31.62 at our price setting.

Room inside

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The trunk holds 510 litres by the EPA's count: a family's bags for a long weekend.

A good match for

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Rent this car

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one.

Request, offer, keys

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Licence, age and card

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

Send a request

When you have your dates, send a request. It is free, and the offer shows the full price.
