Collision replacement car: the TVR
The TVR is on this page for collision replacement car: here is what to know before you request one. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.
Under the hood
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Best uses
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
In our fleet
No TVR is in our fleet today; ask for one in a request and we search for your dates. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
What to bring
Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
Booking with CarmaCars
All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.
The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
Your move
Send a request today, and approve the offer only if it works for you.

Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $0 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
