About the Volvo EX40
The Volvo EX40 for a car while yours is off the road: the facts first, then the booking. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.
The numbers in plain words
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people.
Space and size
As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.
Renting it
We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
How to book
A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.
The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
The rules, briefly
Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.
Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
Talk to a person
A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.

Can I rent a Volvo EX40 in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
