The Volvo WHEB: Collision replacement car
If a car while yours is off the road is the plan, the Volvo WHEB is worth a look; here is why. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.
Specs, explained
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
How big it is
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with.
Best uses
It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.
Can I rent it?
Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
What to have ready
Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.
You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
Booking made plain
All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.
The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Can I rent a Volvo WHEB in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
