Courtesy car and the 2020 Acura RDX Tech

Renting the 2020 Acura RDX Tech as a car while yours is off the road works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.

Renting for Knobs

We have no location in Knobs; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 692 km away. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Knobs.

Places around Knobs include Johnson Crossroads, Elmhurst and Union.

Under the hood

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Fuel use is rated 9.8 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 29 litres. Driving 300 km costs roughly $51.45 at our price setting.

Room inside

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

Best uses

It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Can I rent it?

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Who can rent

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

The booking steps

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

When you know your dates

The next step is yours: send a request whenever you are ready.
