Java and the A4

Java is about 1,933 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Places around Java include Maydelle, Mewshaw and Oakland.

Engine and fuel

The powertrain here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with all-wheel drive and a 6-speed manual. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

The EPA rates it at 8.6 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 26 litres. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $15.05 at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. EPA lists 368 litres of luggage space, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the A4

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Booking with CarmaCars

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Who can rent

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
