Freestone and the A4

If you need it in Freestone itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. We have no location in Freestone; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 3,665 km away.

Around Freestone you will also find Occidental, Bodega and Valley Ford.

Specs, explained

The powertrain here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Plan on about 23 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 7.8 L/100 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $13.65 at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. With 368 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the A4

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Renting it

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

What to have ready

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

How a booking comes together

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
