Specs, explained

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo drives through a 7-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Its combined rating is 7.9 L/100 km, which means roughly 24 litres for 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $138.30 at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Living with the A4

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. NHTSA lists it at 4.76 m long. Check the size of a tight parking spot. The EPA measures its luggage space at 368 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.

How it works

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Before pickup

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

Over to you

Send a request with your dates, and we will come back with an offer.
