Reading the spec sheet

It is powered by the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

A combined rating of 8.3 L/100 km works out to about 25 litres per 300 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $38.61 in energy at our price setting.

What to expect from the A4

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. EPA lists 340 litres of luggage space, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Can you rent one?

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.

Driver basics

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

The steps

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

When you know your dates

Send a request with your dates, and we will come back with an offer.
