Specs, explained

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid does the work, through a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

It is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined: about 25 litres every 300 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $12.87.

A good match for

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

How big it is

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. At 340 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Can I rent it?

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

What we check

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

The steps

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
