Reading the spec sheet

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, driving through a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Combined fuel use is 8.0 L/100 km: about 24 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $124.

Living with the A4

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Rent this car

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.

Before you rent

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

Booking made plain

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Ready when you are

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
