Renting: the basics

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
