Renting for Java

Java is about 1,072 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Tara Village, South Side and Howe are the neighbouring places on our list.

What the figures tell you

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, driving through a 7-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

The EPA rates it at 9.9 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 30 litres. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $51.99 at our price setting.

What the Q5 is like

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Best uses

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people.

Can you rent one?

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

How a booking comes together

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Before you rent

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

When you know your dates

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
