The numbers in plain words

Under the hood: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo and all-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Combined fuel use is 11.4 L/100 km: about 34 litres for 300 km. Expect about $19.95 per 100 km at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

As a full-size SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Is it right for your trip?

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Rent this car

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.

Requesting a car

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Who qualifies

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Next step

Pick the car that fits the trip and send a request.
