The Daewoo: Courtesy car

Searching for courtesy car and the Daewoo? Here is what the car is like and how to rent one from us. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.

Under the hood

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Getting one from us

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We have no Daewoo on the site right now. Send a request with the model you want, and we look for one for your dates. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.

Renting: the basics

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

How it works

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Ready when you are

Send your dates and we will reply with a car and a price.
