The GMC DK: Courtesy car

Searching for courtesy car and the GMC DK? Here is what the car is like and how to rent one from us. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.

Under the hood

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

When the DK makes sense

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Practical details

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk.

Getting this car from us

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.

The rules, briefly

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

What to expect when you book

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
