The Compass and Java

Close by are Maydelle, Mewshaw and Oakland, each with its own page.

What the specs mean

The engine is the 2.4L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive and a 6-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

At 9.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 28 litres of fuel. In energy, every 100 km costs about $14.42 at our price setting.

Practical details

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Who it is for

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

In our fleet

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

What to have ready

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

From your dates to the handover

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Send a request

Tell us your dates and where you want the car, and we will do the rest.
