The 2021 Kia Sorento EX: Courtesy car

If you need a car while yours is off the road, the 2021 Kia Sorento EX is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

A note on Java

Java is about 1,072 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Next door to Java are Tara Village, South Side and Howe.

The figures, translated

The 2.5L 4-cylinder does the work, through an 8-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

The EPA rates it at 9.0 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 27 litres. Driving 300 km costs roughly $41.85 at our price setting.

What to expect from the Sorento

It offers the space of an SUV with the height that makes loading easy.

Best uses

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Getting one from us

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Requirements

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Your booking, in three steps

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. You pay only once you approve the offer.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Questions first?

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
