Specs, explained

Power comes from the 2.5L 4-cylinder, driving through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Combined fuel use is 7.6 L/100 km: about 23 litres for 300 km. Expect about $11.78 per 100 km at our price setting.

The Altima in everyday use

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. The EPA lists 425 litres for luggage, roughly a family's bags for a long weekend.

When the Altima makes sense

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Can I rent it?

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Your booking, in three steps

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Driver basics

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
