Courtesy car and the 2021 Nissan Altima SR

This page joins two things: courtesy car, and the 2021 Nissan Altima SR in plain words. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

The Altima and Java

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Around Java you will also find Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Specs, explained

Power comes from the 2.5L 4-cylinder, driving through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

The EPA rates it at 7.7 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 23 litres. At our price setting, it costs about $11.94 to drive 100 km.

Room inside

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Its 425 litres of luggage space fit a family's bags for a long weekend.

Good uses for the Altima

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Our Altima cars

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

Booking made plain

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Checking your details

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

Still deciding?

Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
