Courtesy car and the 2021 Nissan Sentra S

For a car while yours is off the road, here is what the 2021 Nissan Sentra S brings, and how to request one. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.

Java and the Sentra

Java is about 1,639 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Nearby places include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

What the figures tell you

The 2.0L 4-cylinder does the work, through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

A combined rating of 7.1 L/100 km works out to about 21 litres per 300 km. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $11.01 at our price setting.

When the Sentra makes sense

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Space, size and seats

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The EPA lists 396 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Our Sentra cars

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Rules for renters

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

Booking with CarmaCars

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Talk to a person

A request takes a few minutes and puts a real offer in front of you.
