Courtesy car and the smart: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

The booking steps

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

What you need to rent

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
