About the 2020 Subaru Outback Touring

For a car while yours is off the road, the 2020 Subaru Outback Touring could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.

A note on Yameri

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Yameri. We have no location in Yameri; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 3,364 km away.

San Francisco el Ocatal, San Francisco el Ocotal and Río Tiltepec are the closest places to Yameri on our list.

Reading the spec sheet

The 2.5L 4-cylinder, paired with an automatic (CVT), drives it. It runs on regular gas. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

The EPA rates it at 8.2 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 25 litres. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $38.13 at our price setting.

What to expect from the Outback

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

When the Outback makes sense

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage.

Getting this car from us

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

The rules, briefly

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Booking, step by step

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Talk to a person

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
