Courtesy car with this car

Courtesy car: the Tecstar, LP. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it.

The numbers in plain words

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

A good match for

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

In our fleet

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. We have no Tecstar, LP on the site right now. Send a request with the model you want, and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.

Booking made plain

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Who qualifies

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
