The Model 3 and Java

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Java is about 1,474 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to.

The pages for New Hope, Roeton and Frisco cover the areas next door.

Engine and fuel

It uses the electric motor and all-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

It uses 18.6 kWh per 100 km, so 300 km takes about 56 kWh of charge. The EPA rates its range at 507 km. Winter cold and fast highway driving cut that down. At our price setting, it costs about $2.79 to drive 100 km.

A good match for

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Practical details

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. At 425 litres, the trunk fits a family's bags for a long weekend.

Rent it from us

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

Renting: the basics

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

How to book

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

Ready when you are
