Renting the 2022 Tesla Model 3 Performance

For a car while yours is off the road, the 2022 Tesla Model 3 Performance could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

The Model 3 and Java

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,474 km from Java, and does not deliver there.

New Hope, Roeton and Frisco are the neighbouring places on our list.

The numbers in plain words

Under the hood: the electric motor and all-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

At 18.6 kWh/100 km, a 300 km day uses roughly 56 kWh. On paper it goes 507 km between charges, less in winter. The electricity for 100 km comes to about $2.79 at our price setting.

Practical details

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. At 425 litres, the trunk fits a family's bags for a long weekend.

Best uses

It suits city driving and anyone with charging at home or work. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

Getting this car from us

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What happens when you ask for a car

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Driver requirements

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
