Courtesy car and the 2021 Toyota Corolla L

The 2021 Toyota Corolla L for a car while yours is off the road: the facts first, then the booking. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

Java and the Corolla

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Close by are Selby, Lowry and Sitka, each with its own page.

Under the hood

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder; drive: front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Plan on about 20 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 6.6 L/100 km. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $102.30.

Who it is for

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Inside and out

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. In plain terms, its 510 litres of luggage space hold a family's bags for a long weekend.

Renting the Corolla from CarmaCars

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Booking made plain

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

What we need from you

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

When you know your dates

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
