Emissions test: how we help

For an emissions test on the 2022 Audi A4 Progressiv, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

Before the shop sees your A4

Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the A4. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. If you have the service history of your A4, have it ready for the shop. It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive.

The steps

Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.

Driving while yours is at the shop

Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

Small things that help

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.

Getting a clear quote

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.

Still deciding?

Ask, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
