Emissions test: how we help

Emissions test for the 2023 Audi A4 Progressiv: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Details the shop needs

Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Under the hood: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid and all-wheel drive.

How we help

The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven.

Keep moving meanwhile

Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.

A short checklist

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.

Small things that help

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
