Emissions test: how we help
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for an emissions test on the 2005 Bentley Continental we arrange a trusted shop. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
About your Continental
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Its powertrain is the 6.0L 12-cylinder turbo with all-wheel drive.
What CarmaCars does here
The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Car care, briefly
Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
A short checklist
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
Talk to a person
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
