The 2011 BMW 1M: Emissions test
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For an emissions test on the 2011 BMW 1M, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
Before the shop sees your 1M
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the 1M. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
How the arrangement works
Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
A short checklist
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.
Between shop visits
Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
Ask us
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
