Emissions test: how we help
For an emissions test on the 2014 BMW 335, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.
Before the shop sees your 335
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the 335. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
How we help
We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in.
A rental while you wait
We collect the rental when your car is back. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
Small things that help
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
Before the shop starts
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
Next step
Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
