A rental while yours is in the shop
CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

The BMW 645i: Emissions test
Need an emissions test for your BMW 645i? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it with a trusted shop and keep you driving meanwhile. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
Before the shop sees your 645i
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
What to send us
We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
A car meanwhile
We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
Car care, briefly
Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Make a request
Start with a short request; a person replies within one business day.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
