CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

Arranging the work for the Onix
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for an emissions test on the Chevrolet Onix we arrange a trusted shop. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
Your car, your notes
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
From request to repair
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
A car meanwhile
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We collect the rental when your car is back. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Getting a clear quote
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
Small things that help
Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
Want a price?
Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
