Arranging the work for the Intrepid
Your 2002 Chrysler Intrepid needs an emissions test? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.
Before the shop sees your Intrepid
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Intrepid. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
What CarmaCars does here
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Talking to the shop
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
Between shop visits
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.
Talk to a person
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
