Emissions test: how we help
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work. For an emissions test on the 1997 Chrysler Stratus, we connect you with a trusted shop. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
Your Stratus and the shop
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Stratus. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
Who does what
The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
Driving while yours is at the shop
Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
A short checklist
Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.
Car care, briefly
Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.

Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
