Arranging the work for the Vision
For an emissions test on your 1992 Chrysler Vision, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
Details the shop needs
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Vision. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. If you have the service history of your Vision, have it ready for the shop.
How the arrangement works
Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. We keep you posted until the car is booked in.
A car meanwhile
Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. The rental is priced like any other on our site. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Between shop visits
Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.
Getting a clear quote
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Get an offer
Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
