Emissions test for the 1985 Dodge Caravan
The 1985 Dodge Caravan and an emissions test: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.
Your car, your notes
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Caravan. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. If you have the service history of your Caravan, have it ready for the shop.
What CarmaCars does here
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. You approve the shop's quote before any work. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there.
A car meanwhile
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
What to ask
Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
Good habits for your car
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.
Still deciding?
Ask, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
