Emissions test: how we help
For an emissions test on the 1982 Dodge Mirada, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.
Your car, your notes
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. If you have the service history of your Mirada, have it ready for the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
How the arrangement works
You approve the shop's quote before any work. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.
A car while yours is in the shop
The rental is priced like any other on our site. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Questions to ask the shop
Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.
Good habits for your car
Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
Make a request
Ask, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request emissions test
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
Rent a car while yours is in in Toronto
We have no car while yours is in on the site right now. Request one and we look for it for your dates, or take a similar car that is available now.
